The new centre will complement AIS’s existing Innovation and Competency Hub in Aberdeen. It will also put forward a number of world-leading training and competency programmes for their clients, whether that be in Scotland or elsewhere. The centre is currently under construction and is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
Head of training, skills and education at AIS, Paul Attrill said: “This significant additional investment in Aberdeen underlines our commitment to the region and to our clients in the oil and gas industry. We will be developing the facility in line with clients’ needs and are looking forward to opening soon. We now have the capacity to comfortably train more than 70,000 delegates annually at our four world-class UK sites.”
